We thoroughly enjoyed working with Randy on our two bathroom remodels. He always arrived on time, told us what he was going to get done for the day and then went to work. He completed our two bathrooms quickly and efficiently by cleaning up after his work and communicating with us always. Our house was built in 1986. The den was in great need of remodeling to bring it to today's den design and style features. After receiving several estimates from contractors, we selected on Virginia Beach Remodeling to perform the remodeling work. The den received a complete transformation. Popcorn ceiling, decorative wood ceiling beams, chair railings, and paneling was removed. LED lighting was installed in the ceiling. All wood molding was replaced. The entire room was painted. The completed den renovation was magnificent. My wife and I were completely satisfied and happy with the completed remodeling. Virginia Beach Remodeling provided expert craftsmanship and a personal touch to the renovation. They approached the renovation with care and detail as if it was their own home. My wife and I highly recommend Virginia Beach Remodeling for your future home renovations.

Virginia Beach Remodeling did an excellent job on my bathroom. They transformed it from a 1980's nightmare, to a clean, modern, sophisticated work of art. The first time I went in there after it was completed, I felt like I was in another house. The change was remarkable. Randy was never more than a text away, ready to answer my questions, or give advice, and he kept me informed through the entire process. I would highly recommend them for their services, and plan to use them on another project very soon.

Randy Glaze did a partial renovation on our kitchen, remodeled
our Master bathroom and updated our other bathrooms. When we decided to do these
projects we called out several businesses to get estimates and to talk to them
about the jobs.Several companies came out, but Randy Glaze was the only one to
follow thru! And we are so glad that he did! He set up an appointment with us,
came out, was prompt and explained everything to us. At this point, we knew he
was the right person for the job. In our two bathrooms, he tiled the floors, put
in vanities, mirrors, quartz and granite tops,and painted. In one of our
bathrooms, he installed a tub, shower door and also tiled the bathroom shower
area.Our Master bathroom was a remodel. We took out the oversize jacuzzi tub and
we designed a beautiful large shower, that is simply gorgeous .He tiled the
floors also,painted and installed a vanity and quartz top. In our kitchen, he tiled the
floor and backsplash, put in ceiling lights and under the cabinet
lighting.
Randy was ALWAYS on time, ALWAYS AVAILABLE to answer any questions that we
had and we ALWAYS knew what was going on with the projects.
We were EXTREMELY happy with the outcome of Randy's work.the projects were
fiinished in a very timely manner. We were VERY impressed by his work ethic, attention to detail, dependabilty, willingness to meet our needs and his pleasing personality. He
also works with a BEAUTIFUL "crew", his wife Kate and Brandon.
Randy Glaze comes HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by our family. We will definitely call
Randy again whenever we need him!

It went GREAT! The contractor, Randy Glaze communicated every step of the process via email, text, and text photos. Anytime there was a construction decision, Randy always had several options, as well as the cost of the options as part of his presentation. I felt like I had complete control over any change orders, and having a degree in Mechanical engineering the options were crystal clear and made perfect sense. As an out-of-town client, I couldn't have gotten better service. The end result looks fabulous. The bathrooms look like something out of a high end Home or Home & Garden magazine. The cost was within the estimate, and the price more than fair. I would not hesitate to use VBR again, and would highly recommend him for anyone considering a bathroom remodel.

Professional, punctual, flexible, easy to contact, meticulous attention to detail.... I can't say enough good things about Randy and the experience that we had with him. I am currently using him again to remodel our 1980s kids/guest bathroom and would absolutely recommend him to anyone.
Complete remodel of our vintage 1980s living room which had a huge brick fireplace. VB remodelling gutted the existing room and built it from scratch with the exception of the wood floor. Randy tiled over the old fireplace, installed surround sound, repainted the ceiling, installed can lighting, repainted/reinstalled crown moldings among many other details. The room looks completely different. The before and after pictures should be on their website and they speak for themselves.

Randy Glaze recently completed a bath remodel that included replacing our fiberglass shower and linoleum floor with porcelain tile. I was immediately impressed by Randy's professionalism and strong work ethic. Once he starts a project, he sticks with it till completion. Randy kept us informed throughout the renovation. He provided guidance on where to purchase our tile so we could get the best value for our money, and worked with us to incorporate existing fixtures into the redesign.
We purchased a shower door from a third party, and Randy returned to oversee the installation of the door and apply the finishing touches to the project.
We are extremely satisfied with the work Randy performed. He finished in a timely manner, and we will definitely consider VB Remodeling for future projects.

The kitchen of my dreams became a reality when I hired Virginia Beach
Remodeling! Quality craftsmanship, trustworthiness and reliability are
just a few of the words to describe our experience with Randy Glaze.
From the initial consultation to the finishing touches, we were always
made to feel that customer satisfaction was Randy's first priority.
The lines of communication were always open and we were always kept
aware of what was being done and when it would take place. The result
was a kitchen which was functional, showroom quality beautiful, and
affordable. We were so impressed with the recessed lighting he
installed in our kitchen that we had Randy install them in our
adjoining living room area, which he was able to do without missing a
beat with our kitchen remodel. Throughout the process, Randy always
considered our budget and provided us with a variety of price options
for all of the materials ordered. As this was our first experience
with having a contractor in our home, we were leery about having
someone come into our home when we were not home. After getting to know

Bathroom Addition: We were recommended to use Randy by our neighbor to
add a bathroom to the rear of our home where none existed. From our
first meeting with Randy, he was confident about handling the entire
job with no problem which included adding a sewer line and water feed
to the rear of the house, a structure enclosure, concrete footing,
dry-walling, tile floors, and the installation of a shower stall, sink
vanity and toilet. Randy was very systematic from step 1 to the
completion of the job and the bathroom addition looked like an
original part of the house. Randy is a stickler for detail and we
found his work to be exceptionally outstanding. We are extremely
satisfied with his work and we highly recommend him.

Patio door refinish: I was recommended to use Randy through a friend at
work after I installed my patio door. It needed the trim work done on
the inside, as the new patio door was different size than the old one.
I gave Randy a call and that same evening he showed up to see the work
needed. After a couple of days waiting for the trim to be made, I
received a call from Randy. He came to my house with the trim work
ready to go, and after only a little while it was all done ! I am very
pleased with Randy's work ethic and work quality. I would definatley
use him again for future projects and highly recommend him to anybody
needing work done!

Reliable Work: We recently bought a home that needed the kitchen,
bathrooms plastering and other electrical work done. We contacted
various companies but VB Remodeling stood out because Randy did all
the work himself and he did everything that we needed, eliminating the
need for multiple contractors. Randy is very reliable and gets the
work done when he says that he will. Furthermore, he was willing to
help us out with ideas and with us and around us on our own projects.
He truly cares about his customers and treated our home as if it were

Best contractor in hampton roads: I was inspecting a plumbing rough-in
on a bathroom addition Randy was doing. I have to say this man has a
maticulous work ethic.The construction was outstanding. He uses much
bigger joists and rafters than what the code calls for. He preforms
the work like it's his home. This is the guy I want for home
improvements. If they were all like Randy there would not be a need
for home repairs due to shoddy workmanship. My hats off to you Randy.

Laundry Room Remodel: Met Randy through a friend. After getting blown
off numerous times by a contractor my wife and I were going to use, we
finally gave up. So, we asked Randy to come by and give us an estimate
on what we needed done. Basically, we had an unfinished room that was
created by building a wall in my garage to separate some space to
create a laundry room separate from the garage. Randy came right over
on the day and time we set up, looked it over and gave us an estimate
that was within our budget and also gave us some more ideas we hadn't
thought about. Randy relocated our water heater, washer/dryer, moved
the plumbing for the washer, added new outlets, new recessed ceiling
lights, built a closet to enclose our water heater, insulated and
drywalled all walls, installed all new trim and shelves and painted.
During the remodel he also offered to install tile floor for us within
the same quote we had originally came up with that only included snap
and lock style flooring since the tile floor would last a lot longer
and hold up better. Needless to say, once the job was complete, my wife
and I were very pleased! Not only did we have job done by a quality,
trust worthy contractor, we made a new friend along the way too!
We would gladly use Randy again forfuture upgrades to our home!

My new go to: Randy was a chance meeting through a family member. Once
we talked about coming over with an estimate he was right there. Not to
be said about some contractors. This was a huge commitment for my wife
an I. Needless to say Randy finished on time and within our buget. When
it was all over I felt like we had hit the contractor lottery. I would
highly recommend Randy to anyone whether the job is large or
small...he will be hearing from us again. Dont hesitate to call this
gentleman...he is the real deal.

Kitchen remodeling, ceramic tile, playrooms - he does it all!!! Randy
is the expert for home renovations. His finished product is top notch.
It can make more sense renovate and upgrade than to buy a new home
these days. Beside, once he's done, your home will look brand new. I
highly recommend him to others.

He Does It All: I called Randy at VBR after seeing some of his work at
a neighbor's house. He gave me a good price for installing wooden
floors, bathroom remodeling, installing all new interior doors and
crown molding plus painting. His work is excellent and the house
looked like a model home when he was finished.

A kitchen worthy of entertaining... I called VBR to give me some
estimates on repairing a ceiling and floors in my kitchen. Upon
inspection and conversation, we discussed potential projects. With no
pressure, I was exposed to multiple ideas I had not fully considered.
In the end, VBR removed a wall, sculpted my ceiling, installed new
cabinets, in ceiling speakers, built me a custom cabinet to hide an
entertainment center, etc... I could not be more pleased with the
final product. I would not only recommend VBR to others, I would hire
them again for future projects.
